Submersible Mixers
These types of equipment are used in paint booth systems with a downdraft design (where the venturi - water curtain is at the floor level), specifically in systems with relatively deep water depths known as paint booth pools. They prevent the settling of paint sludge that may tend to settle at the bottom of the pool. By providing mixing at the pool bottom, they help prevent settling paint sludge from mixing with the process water and assist in its discharge to the treatment system using transfer pumps.
Baffle Plates
Similarly, in downdraft paint booth systems, they are used inside the paint booth pool to direct the flow of water from the paint booth and ensure a flow towards the suction point of the treatment system.
Surface Suction Systems
Surface Suction Systems are used in pool systems where the water level varies to discharge floating paint sludge to the treatment system.
