Why Should We Use a Dosing System?
Dosing systems are used in paint booth treatment systems to dose the chemicals needed by the system.
Since the painting process is a continuous process, products need to be fed into the system as long as the painting application continues; therefore, processes such as manual dosing or batch dosing are not recommended as they can harm process stability.
By dosing chemical products in the correct amount and from the right location, it is possible to meet the required chemical amount for the system and prevent unnecessary and unconscious consumption caused by manual pouring.
Dosing systems are crucial for accurately calculating daily consumption and thus daily chemical costs, adjusting chemical amounts to accommodate variations in paint consumption throughout the day with the help of dosing pumps.
In dosing systems, recipe-based dosing systems can also be used for painting systems that undergo continuous changes along with fixed dosing.
The dosing system is set up with a separate pump for each chemical product to be used in the system. The pumps can work in an on/off logic or receive signals from the painting system and/or paint robot via the 4-20mA standard.
